This photograph of my amazing and gorgeous friend Zoë was taken around the year 2000 and featured on the cover of the Millennium edition of “Interaction” – the Journal of Action for M.E.
We made this striking image into a posterboard and displayed it at our “Light Up the Night Newcastle Upon Tyne & Gateshead! UK 2017” event on May 12, the 25th anniversary of World ME Awareness Day.
We were able to raise awareness of very severe and chronic M.E – Zoë still uses a reclining wheelchair today, 2017
